3D Artist- Texture/Modeler/Character Artist
Animaticmedia is seeking an extremely talented Maya/ZBrush Artist to join our Burbank team on a contract basis. You must demonstrate a mastery of human anatomy and ability to create realistic expressions and likenesses.
Responsibilities:
Modeling high quality 3D assets.
Creating clean, stylized textures.
Sculpting distinct and accurate characters in Zbrush (or equivilent software)
Extracting maps- Displacement, Ambient Occlusion, etc.
Baking hi-resolution sculpts into textures for a flat shaded render solution.
Generating clean intuitive UV's for all models.
Requirements:
1) High level ability in Maya.
2) High level experience with Zbrush or equivilant sculpting software (Mudbox, etc.)
4) Excellent texture painting skills in Photoshop.
7) Demonstrated talent on developing the surface materials, textures and UVs for characters, props or environments
8) 3D Generalist skills in Maya are a huge plus: Animation, rigging, lighting, rendering, compositing, etc.
