Advertising and Brand Manager

Essential Duties

·                Manage and enhance a company's brand or reputation in the public's eye.

·                Ensure brand consistency.

·                Develop and enrich customer service experience.

·                Drive profitable sales, brand growth and loyalty for a number of business areas.

·                Analyze and support both category and cluster marketing plans to align with brand strategy and achieve annual operating plan goals.

·                Develop accountability structure for stakeholders.

·                Develop and execute brand management plans.

·                Create and enhance agency and partner relationships.

·                Leverage customer insight data to refine brand management.

·                Identify brand-building areas.

·                Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with the company and brand positioning.

·                Develop and implement media planning, buying, and innovation strategies.

·                Coordinate and manage content management and information sharing among departments, divisions and external customers and divisions.

·                Provide design and direction for collateral, web, product packaging, and other visual communications media for the company.

·                Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.

·                Assist in development and refinement of uniform graphic standards and visual brand strategies.

 

Essential Duties 2

·                To manage a brand within the context of the agreed strategies to maximize long term sales and profitability. 

·                To develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans for assigned brands and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget. 

·                To contribute to the development of category strategies.

·                Contributing to Innovation by delivering a product development program to generate consistent sales and profit growth

·                To develop, recommend and execute annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy and plans.

·                To initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long term brand growth. Develop these insights into achievable plans.

·                To lead the development of local copy strategy/ executions and/or to ensure adaptation possible for other regions.

·                In close co-operation with the Sales function and Trade Marketing, identify trade needs/ opportunities, developing pricing and distribution strategies and trade promotions for assigned brands.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·                Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in consumer brand marketing

·                Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including expertise in delivering presentations.

·                Ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative results to provide meaningful interpretation of consumer and customer satisfaction strategies. Solid understanding and experience using data for custom reports. Ability to research and effectively apply market/trend information.

·               Analytical/quantitative skills, complex project management skills, team leadership skills, strategic thinking and leadership skills, coaching skills.

·                Proven success managing the development and flow-to-market of consumer products.

·                Strong skills in the application of market research to the strategic positioning and product optimization of new products.

·                Computer skills – proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with MS Project is also a plus.
