Responsibilities
The CG supervisor is responsible for the uniformity of technical
direction on projects. He or she acts as an expert consultant during
production, analyses problems, and brings technical solutions in order
to fulfill client expectations. The supervisor works in tight
collaboration with the production team and supervisors to achieve the
creative and quality goals of the project within budget and schedule.
Skills and requirements
- Considerable CG Supervising experience (+ 10 years) in high-end VFX production
- Experience working as a 3D lead
- Mastery of VFX production and pipeline as a whole; how all departments interact with one another
- Mastery of 3D software such as XSI, Maya, Houdini, etc. essential
- Strong sense of organization, priorities and attention to detail
- Strong leadership, mentoring, management and communication skills
- Up-to-date awareness of trends in CG, film, television and VFX
- Task driven, self-motivated and proactive
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines
- Problem solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of French language
