SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - WINDOWS AUDIO DRIVER DEVELOPMENT #1516044 NVIDIA is looking for world-class engineers to join the Multimedia Software Engineering Group to work on the latest digital audio technologies on NVIDIA's Mobile platform, Tegra. That includes support for various audio use-cases, ultra-low power optimizations, performance improvements, audio and voice codecs support, etc.. We are looking for a talented and passionate engineer who can help with implementing new audio features, debugging existing ones, writing tools to improve performance, quality and power consumption, catch defects and help with investigating new ways to improve the multimedia user experience and keep NVIDIA ahead of the pack. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related degree. - 2-5 years of relevant software development experience - Excellent programming skills in C and C++ - Experience with digital audio and voice processing - Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative and act as a strong team player - Familiarity with Audio codecs such as AAC, MP3, is highly useful - Familiarity with Windows8 Audio SW stack is also beneficial EOE
