3D printing is turning consuming into crafting, and dreamforge is building the software for this revolution. We're a YCombinator and Stanford startup in the San Francisco Bay Area, venture funded, and advised by leading minds in computer graphics and web systems.
We're looking for someone who lives and breathes computer graphics and with a special interest in procedural modeling, computational geometry, and human computer interaction.
Passion for geometry and procedural modeling
Can code geometry algorithms in a fraction of the time of most people you know
A good sense of the current state of the art in 3D geometry
Good knowledge of OpenGL
Know popular tools like CGAL, Carve, MeshLab and standard languages (C++)
Know how to build manifold, watertight meshes
Must have the ability to build maintainable and large systems
Strong math background preferred, though not necessary
CompSci degree
Come work in a brand new field where you can say from the start (and hopefully often) that you’re making a positive ding in the universe. You'll get to work on an innovative product and learn a significant amount about the changes going on in 3D printing.
