Description
The Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy at the University of
Central Florida, College of Arts and Humanities seeks excellent
candidates for an Instructor/Lecturer with an internal title of Technical
Production Director.
The responsibilities of the Technical Production Director will be to
teach 1 -2 courses a semester for the FIEA graduate program. This person will also
be expected to propose and direct new styles of capstone games. This person will help students use the skills
they learned at FIEA to look beyond entertainment to the modern trend of
industry gamification techniques and opportunities. This is a 9-month
non-tenure earning position with the potential of a 3-month summer contract.
Other responsibilities include holding office hours, conducting required
academic performance assessments, and development of instructional content.
