ANDROID FRAMEWORKS MANAGER #1627088 We are looking for a Android Frameworks Manager to lead a group of top-notch engineers focused on Android Frameworks developing for both NVIDIA reference platforms and products with Tegra SoC. You will lead Android Frameworks team on bug debugging and triaging for each BSP release on Tegra reference platform. You will own prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and managing the execution of all tasks related to Android Frameworks for NVIDIA Tegra products. You will also be expected to take a strong hands-on technical role where appropriate. To excel in this role, you have to be highly motivated, work well under pressure, have a strong technical mindset, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Primary focus will be to drive NVIDIA Android BSP to production release quality in Android Frameworks area for each generation of Tegra SoC. - Lead and manage a team of software engineers responsible for developing and supporting Android Frameworks cross branches on reference platforms and products. - Bugs management on triaging, debugging and driving to close. - Proactively define and track various metrics in order to meet SOL of TTM on NVIDIA Android BSP. - Provide scheduling, resource planning, and technical task direction for assigned platforms. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BSEE / CS or equivalent. - 5 years of experience in developing complex low-level software for embedded projects, including 2 or more years of management or technical lead experience. - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. - Detailed knowledge of Android, operating system internals, Java/C/C++ language, SOC architecture. - Detail-oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements. - Able to work closely with hardware, SQA, and release planning team to deliver the highest quality products.
