SENIOR ASIC DESIGNER - MEMORY CONTROLLER #1645683 As a Senior ASIC Designer at NVIDIA, you will work with a team on the design and implementation of cutting edge Memory Controllers for our GeForce GPUs and Tegra SoCs. You will work with architects, software engineers and circuit designers to understand requirements and deliver a world class solution. NVIDIA Memory controllers are amongst the industry's most complex because of the many protocols that are supported and the stringent requirements of our high end graphics controllers. In this position, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the micro-architecture and design including RTL design, synthesis, functional verification and timing analysis using leading edge CAD tools and using the latest process technologies. MIMIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BS in Electrical Engineering required, advanced degrees (MS, PhD) a plus. - Looking for Senior & Lead ASIC Design engineers with 5-15 years of industry experience and backgrounds in high speed DRAM and/or processor design (ie Graphics, Microprocessors, Network Processors, or Mobile / Multimedia SOCs). - Knowledge of GDDR5, GDDR3, DDR3 or DDR2 protocols is preferred. - The ideal candidate will also be familiar with all stages in the ASIC design flow including emulation, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floorplanning, ECO, bringup & lab debug, and ATE test development. - Strong working knowledge of Verilog or VHDL. - Experience with high speed clocking. - Familiarity with board and system level issues. - Familiarity with cache interfaces/protocols is a plus. - Programming skills in C and/or PERL is preferred.
