Social Game Designer

Gameloft, an international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, is seeking gifted Game Designers of all levels to join our talent pool creating great social games. As a key member of the development team, you’ll take charge of the initial concept and game design directly through final delivery.

• The Games Designer, you will be responsible for the design of top social games on platforms like iOS, Android and other social networks. 
• Work with the team to define the creative vision and fun factor
• Work closely with members of the production team to execute design and continue to evolve and improve the design ongoing over time

• You have a B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Game Design or related field.
• 2+ years of professional game industry experience as a game designer. 
• You MUST be a proven game designer with successful industry experience, specifically designing social games.
• Your experience should include a deep understanding of viral design, retention, and monetization techniques for games with a virtual goods economy and business model.
• Additional design experience with online casual, MMO, PC or other forms of games is a positive.
• Familiarity with social game metrics and the impact of game design on these metrics is important.
• You must have experience designing social games with a meaningful company in the space.
• You have experience with game, entertainment, and/or social networking websites, PC game development, or related.
• You work and effectively communicate with multi-national, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones. 
• Experience in R&D a plus.
• Experience managing and mentoring other game designers a plus.
