BIOLUCID, a developer of immersive 3D software, mobile games/sims and a revolutionary
medical visualization product, is seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and
knowledgeable Real-Time Art Director to help lead our development team in their
artistic and tech-art efforts in our Sarasota, FL studio.
BIOLUCID is a stable and expanding global company, and
industry leader in a sector just beginning to hit the mainstream. This is a long
term opportunity, and we hope the new Art Director will stay and grow with the
company well into the future. No prior science or healthcare industry
experience needed, but an interest in the subject matter is important.

The ideal candidate:

will be an expert in
real-time 3D, as well as the convergence of pre-rendered and real time technology.
·
will have shipped
multiple AAA titles over an accomplished career in games.
·
must enjoy and excel
at mentoring, and directing talented artists who join our team from nearby
Ringling College of Art + Design, providing skills and insight to integrate
into our production workflow.
· will be
comfortable in getting hands on in the asset development process.
· must stay up to date in the latest technology
and techniques to make recommendations on how to best achieve our artistic and
technical objectives.

will have excellent
verbal and written communications skills, and be able to collaborate and
coordinate with our producer, and other directors in the company at a high level of efficiency.

will lead,
mentor, motivate and support team of 3D artists, through the concept and visual
development of the product to its completion
· will generate creative direction and manage and
develop workflows,
· will assign, schedule and review internal team
art tasks and conduct performance reviews of direct reports
·
will be responsible
for achieving overall studio aesthetic objectives
·
will actively
participate in hiring decisions regarding the acquisition of additional talent
for our rapidly expanding company
·
will assist artists’
growth through professional development
