Tenure-Track Assistant Professor

Northern Kentucky University is seeking applicants for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Media Informatics to begin August
2014. The successful candidate will be
vested and proven in the fast-changing world of new media, but foremost be a
teacher-scholar with a focus in UX/UI design and/or web and mobile
design/development. Applicants should upload a cover letter, curriculum vitae, copies of recent teaching evaluations (qualitative and quantitative), and three letters of reference with complete contact information when they apply. Applicants are also encouraged to send samples or links that demonstrate expertise. Review of applications will begin November 8, 2013 and continue until the position has been filled.
The Media Informatics program is situated in the College of
Informatics, which integrates three departments: Communication, Computer
Science and Business Informatics. The College of Informatics is located in
Griffin Hall, a new facility with state-of-the-art technology and includes
integrated media labs, a research lab, and the Digitorium, a flexible
large-scale teaching and interactive space.
