SENIOR MANAGER - TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT #1593402 RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage large complex global cross functional software projects across multiple business units - Lead projects from kickoff to lessons learned, and everything in between. - Develop project requirements, goals and objectives - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones - Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths - Drive and Manage Project Execution. - Set aggressive goals and drive the team to meet and exceed them - Monitor, track and review project progress. Identify, escalate and resolve issues as appropriate. - Hold team members accountable for their commitments, milestones and deliverables - Effectively communicate objectives, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and management - Ensure stakeholder acceptance at all key milestones. - Develop and maintain strong cross functional relationships - Facilitate Lessons Learned, identify areas for process improvement and work to improve existing processes - Lead major changes/re-designs/ "paradigm shifts" of processes, systems, or programs that impact entire organizations or departments MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - 3 years programming of a modern programming language - 3 years minimum experience of direct project management leadership (not acting in a supportive role) in a software environment - Strong cross functional leadership and consensus building - Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements - Experience coordinating development and planning activities within SOFTWARE organizations essential - Team management experience in project teams of 20 people or more - Committed to process enhancement - Experience with complete project lifecycle - Working knowledge of MS Project - Must possess excellent issue and risk management mitigation skills - Must possess excellent communication and technical presentation skills - Ability to foster motivation within the project team at all levels of seniority to meet goals, milestones and deadlines PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: - PMP-certification is an advantage, but demonstrated history of success and actual depth of project management experience is expected - Experience with one or more Mobile OS such as Windows on Arm, Android, LDK, WinCE etc is a plus - Knowledge of operating systems, graphics principles and standards are a plus - Knowledge and experience with Configurations Management Systems like Git/Perforce is a plus - Experience with productivity tools and process automation in support of this role is a plus - Experience with SW Processes like CMM, Agile Methodologies, etc is a plus EOE
