SENIOR SYSTEM SOFTWARE ENGINEER - WIRELESS #1563383 NVIDIA is searching for world-class software engineers for an exciting role on our Tegra communication software team. As a member of team, you will work closely with hardware and software engineers to design and develop telephony subsystem of next generation phones and tablets. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, develop and platform integration of IPC drivers, RIL, aGPS etc for next generation of 3G/4G modems - Optimize system for best in class power envelop for telephony use cases by working with cross functional teams. - Work with tier1 mobile device manufacturers to help bring new Tegra phones and tablet to the market MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE - 8+ years of software development experience. - Excellent C programming and debugging skills. - Experience working with IO device drivers like Shared memory, USB, SDIO etc in embedded linux - Knowledge 3G/4G modem protocol stack and experience debugging modem protocol issues - Experience with network debug tools such as network emulators from R&S, Agilent. - Experience with pre-silicon software development using FPGA is a plus. - Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate environment.
