SOFTWARE PROGRAM MANAGER #1627888 RESPONSIBILITIES: - SW Program Management * Working with development and SQA leads to manage software releases for new hardware and/or new software features. * Drive all software activities in support of new chips, from design through production. * Work with marketing to manage early access and production release programs. * Develop and maintain processes to ensure high quality releases are delivered to schedule. * Create and maintain schedules for multiple overlapping releases. * Work with field engineers, developers and customer PM?s to drive high priority customer issues. * Organize and run status meetings to align developers, QA, marketing and management. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Required Organizational Skills and Traits: - Hands on experience with software development and process specifically for device drivers and software application development - Detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements - Excellent communications and technical presentation skills - Proactive, responsive and keen on process enhancement - Able to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful - Demonstrable ability to think outside the box to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts - Demonstrated ability to get complex product to customers - Consensus and team building skills - 5 years in a similar or related role - BS EE or CS - PM Certification/training a plus TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: - 5 years programming of a modern programming language highly desired - Thorough knowledge of software engineering principles - Experience with productivity tools and process automation in support of this role a big plus - Knowledge of operating systems, graphics principles and standards are a plus EOE
