Flash Game Designer

Description

Starfall Education located in San Diego seeks to fill its Flash Game Designer position.  The ideal candidate is genuinely motivated to design activities that foster a love of learning, give a sense of wonderment and play!  If you’re motivated to create quality content that makes a difference and meet the criteria below, then we want to hear from you!

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and translate design documents into semi-functional mockups that engage our audience
• Add simple Actionscript interactivity to show desired gameplay, you do not need to be a programmer
• Identify problems with game flow logic & offer suggestions for improvement
• Create & manipulate graphics, movieclips, buttons, animations and audio within Flash
• Work closely with upper management, implement feedback & be open to change
• Assist with other production related tasks when needed
