Systems Architect

JOB SUMMARY:
FotoKem Industries Inc. is seeking a Systems Architect for it's new media division. We are looking for a
highly motivated Systems Architect with experience in design and deployment of SAN and/or NAS
storage solutions with an emphasis on high resolution video and data post production. The position is
ideally suited for persons that have experience with various platforms, including Xserve / Mac OSX Server
administration, Linux/Unix, StorNext, and Windows Server.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design specify and deploy an efficient media/IT infrastructure for a data-centric motion picture and
television post facility. Will be responsible for administration of all hardware and software in the new
media division, and assisting in finding/training additional personnel.
- Develop industry relationships with vendors and other technical members of the community.
- Understand and improve current data infrastructure and I/O procedure.
- Drive new media post solutions with existing team.
