Lead Environment Artist

Amazon Game Studios is looking for an experienced 3D artist to join our agile development team as the Lead 3D Environment Artist. In this role, you will define, drive, and inspire the visual elements of the environments in our games. The perfect candidate will be a master of all aspects of game art creation, and be a hardworking self-motivated team player. You will have a passion for leading a team of artists to make world class game environments. You will be proficient in hard surface & organic modeling, and have a proven track record of generating environment props & lighting. As Environment Lead, you will be charged with leading a talented team of environment artists, but you will also seek to continuously improve your own skill set, and be comfortable with artistic critique. Our games span from real-time next gen graphics to pre-rendered assets. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable doing both.
