Senior System Administrator, Interactive Gaming, Las Vegas, NV 

The Senior System Administrator has system knowledge both of poker, software and hardware in general. A deep understanding of enterprise application operations is expected. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Application management on an architectural level within Ongame production sites
• Driving operational requirements towards development organization
• Verifying releases on an operational level such as instability and maintainability
• Deliver updates and information regarding application operability to NOC
• Preparation of releases before live deployment
• Handling of incoming incidents, change requests and problems
• Documentation from an application operation perspective. KB - HowTo's, Operation Manuals, Alarms Journal, Work Arounds, Incident Information, Incident solutions, Problem status, Service dependencies. Deploy - Test rapport, Checklists. CMDB updates
• Education of first line support regarding new and changed applications
• Perform installations of poker applications according to Ongame Technology Release process

• Higher technical school or college or same equivalent education or experience.

• At least 3 years coherent experience of IT support and system administration in Linux and application management. Network, Security, project work, solutions development, administrative and organizational skills.
• An in depth understanding of system-knowledge, architecturally driven, strongly focused on monitor and operation of the applications.
• Linux Red Hat - knowledge and usage of good practice methodologies and tools for automatisation. Configuration to guarantee Service Operations standards, customer requests and security measurements.
• Automatzaion & Scripting - Analytic skills and programming knowledge with scripts (Bash, Python, Perl, PHP, Java...). The knowledge of at least one scripting language and its fluent use for automation.
• ITIL knowledge - understanding, knowledge and working according the Ongame processes based on ITIL.
• Minimum of two (2) years of web application development required.
