Gnomon School of Visual Effects is seeking a Recruiter to help promote visual effects and entertainment art as a viable career path to high school and college students across the greater LA and OC metropolitan area.  Candidates should be engaging public speakers, quick learners and preferably possess an art background.  Experience is welcomed but not necessary – this could be a great job for a recent college grad.

In a nutshell, the Recruiter is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and conducting presentations of marketing material through speaking events at campuses across the greater LA and OC area.

Duties / Responsibilities include:

·         Conduct presentations of marketing material to high school and college campuses

·         Schedule and coordinate school outreach events, including classroom visits, campus tours, career fairs and trade shows

·         Execute daily phone calls and emails to schools, based on quotas given by the Director of Admissions

·         Generate, manage and follow up with school contacts via school contact database

·         Organize and execute mailing of promotional literature to school campuses in accordance with the outreach strategy

·         Local travel to high school and college campuses within driving distance
