R&D Technical Artist

This is a position in R&D where the successful candidate will be responsible for using and analyzing the existing tools and in-house developed products.

The candidate will have to work on a daily basis with R&D with following kind of task.

- Survey of existing creative possibilities for a given visual goal

- Create challenging scenes to test the tools

- Evaluate tool ease of use, and creative possibilities

- Propose improvement to the tools

- Design and if possible implement user interfaces

- Write documentation like survey report and tutorials

- Achieve transfer of the tool from R&D to the production

The tools cover all areas of computer graphics like shading and rendering, animation, modeling, rigging, effects and pipeline. For example the candidate may have to create some models, texture and animation to test a tool possibilities, to use/create shading network to explore creativity possibilities, to try different rigging techniques and adapt them to various purpose, to make some proof concept scene for look development.
