We are seeking a stellar Senior Digital Matte Painter/Compositor to join the animation team here at Bron. We are seeking an experienced specialist for this role to help define our work flow for integrating 2D and 3D elements in our final composites. The ideal candidate should possess strong artistic and technical abilities and be able to adapt to varied visual styles. This role will work closely with the VFX Supervisor and Production Designer on the visual development of our environment designs. In addition, this artist will help define how our various mattes and rendered elements are integrated in our final comps.

They should be able to effectively and proactively communicate issues with colleagues, take direction well and be calm under pressure. The successful candidate should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to collaboratively develop solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with VFX Supervisor and Production Design to create the desired look of our environments.

• Work with the Lighting/Comp Lead to create comps that successfully integrate projected mattes with 3D rendered elements.

• Create matte paintings to meet the desired visual targets.

• Establish 2D/3D integration work flow for final comp.
