Jr. Character Designer

Description

The Junior Character Designer is responsible, under the supervision of the Director, for designing and illustrating characters from the original concept through to finished production drawings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and illustrate characters from concept to finish.
• Articulate creative ideas, solve problems and provide visual insight to the technical team and animators.
• Create model sheets (expressions, poses, turnarounds) to guide subsequent development of animated characters.
• Interpret Director's concepts and vision.
• May be called upon to do production and prop design.
