The mission of Canon Information & Imaging Solutions, Inc. is to accelerate Canon’s overall solutions and services business by leveraging its strong portfolio of imaging technology to realize new business opportunities. Canon USA’s existing professional services business, which is centered primarily around document related solutions – such as imaging, output management, document management, Records Management – was transferred into Canon Information & Imaging Solutions, Inc. giving it a solid foundation and initial focus in the area of Business Process Optimization.
We are seeking a Solutions Consultant with Salesforce experience. to support the sale of complex solutions that often include customized software and professional services. The Solutions Consultant will be called into accounts as opportunities are identified through the wholesale channels of distribution, National Accounts or Federal Sales. Will deal directly with end clients and often demonstrates and configures solutions withing customer network environments.
Western region of US: west of Colorado............Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Montana...................
- Participates in introductory sales calls: Channel engages Sales Consultant to assist in explaining Canon’s more technical solutions. Helps uncover applications for Solutions Business Development Division solutions and services.
- Strengthens Sales rep position in account by showing depth of Canon resources and solutions.
- Identifies opportunities to deliver customized software solutions. Gathers customer technical
requirements needed to guide software development and assists in managing the overall project process particularly in communicating timelines and expectations with dealer and customer. - In some cases, Solutions Consultant will be responsible in delivering and installing the customized software solution in customer environment.
- Trains dealer and customer sales engineers to support and administer customized solutions.
- Demonstrates technical feasibility often times through beta tests and trial programs.
- Supports dealer activities such as Educational Seminars and Open Houses by providing an additional level of technical expertise for increased customer credibility.
- Advises on proposals by providing technical expertise based upon Canon technology
and customer network/workflow requirements. - Advises dealer sales reps on workflow assessment surveys and assists in presenting results to customer.
- Gathers market intelligence including IT trends, customer technology trends and preferences, Independent Software Vendor (ISV) activities, competitive activities, and channel partner activities.
- Supports CUSA tradeshows and events by demonstrating and presenting Canon technology.
- Supports Product Divisions launch activities.
