CG Software Engineer

Who we are:
Go Ghost is a small San Diego based company with a focus on advanced software development for the CG animation industry. We create technology that dramatically improves the process of producing animated feature films, television commercials, and visual effects.
Even though we are only in beta, our software has already been used in several award winning commercials. You will work with the development team to help us go from beta to version 1.0. You will need experience in the technologies required to bring the application completion.
Experience we want you to have
- An extreme level of competence in C++
- Shader development for various rendering engines (V-Ray, Arnold, Mental Ray)
- Experience building end-user applications (QT, Win/Mac/Linux)
- GPU and CPU rendering and raytracing (OpenCL and CUDA)
- Python
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with CG tools, API’s, processes and pipelines (Maya, Nuke, Shotgun, rendering, compositing, etc)
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D file formats (OpenEXR, FBX, OBJ, etc)
- A genuine interest in film and animation
- A sense of humor
