We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in the Pipeline Technology group located in Burbank, CA.

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEERS are responsible for analyzing production procedures and problems, evaluating the effectiveness of existing solutions, making recommendations to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow, and developing software tools for animation production. In this specific role, you will be working with artists, technical directors and other software engineers to define the next generation of pipeline technology to be used in animation films at the Walt Disney Animation Studios.

We are seeking individuals who have a proven ability to deliver not just timely and relevant functionality, but also user interfaces designed to be intuitive and productive. Other key coding practices include building for performance and sustainability, including appropriate automated unit tests. As a developer on SCRUM projects you will be expected to excel in a highly collaborative environment, with minimal supervision. You must be comfortable supporting your peers by bringing fresh insight for shared problem solving, and value team success as much as individual excellence. You will work directly with your end-users to understand their requirements, recreate and resolve issues and appreciate how their craft is influenced by the quality of the tools we deliver.
