DIRECTOR, DIGITAL MEDIA

Delgado Community College seeks a qualified individual to direct development of the academic programs and curricula for both credit and noncredit educational and training offerings in a variety of digital media fields.  

The Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of programs that include: video game design and development, film and television post-production, software development, animation, graphic design, sound/audio production and mixing, web design and development, and other emerging, high-tech fields.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and to track trends, facilitate projects and work within a team.  Comprehensive experience with and connections in the Digital Media industry in the southeast Louisiana region is a must.  

This position focuses heavily on curriculum development, practical application of successful traditional and adult learning practices and techniques, and response to training needs and gaps within the local Digital Media industry.  The Director will be able to work collegially with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and industry partners on a daily basis.  The Director will develop all programs carefully adhering to all accreditation requirements.
?This position is vital in Delgado’s integrated strategic, master, educational, technology, and budget planning, and long-range instructional planning.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
