THE OPPORTUNITY:
With the business and product portfolio expanding rapidly, IGT is looking for a world-class Director of Tech & Ops Global Game Studios to lead the Game Studio Operation team with responsibility in bringing to market compelling products to drive business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director, Tech & Ops Global Game Studios will plan and execute strategic operations across studio lines as well as assess and implement process and best practices.
This executive will serve as a key member of the company’s leadership team and will partner with studio leaders and other IGT executives globally to accomplish their goals.
The key components of the role are:
· Establish and maintain a resource management organization across all Global Game Studios to drive strategic workload balancing to meet product demands
· Evolve technology platforms and processes across all Global Game Studios toward better efficiency and consistency with a focus on constant improvement and evolution
· Play a key role in common process framework development, rollout, and ongoing administration
· Ensure global reach of products and process across all IGT Game studios by establishing oversight and collaboration with international game development studios
· Plans for, influences and directs as appropriate, the development of games / applications from conception to delivery
· In partnership with Studio Heads, oversees the overall execution of the game development lifecycle including concept, design, production, and unit testing toward consistency, efficiency and predictability
· Directed by the Chief Creative Officer and in partnership with PMO and other studio heads, drives the creation of the strategic game development plan relevant to the studio’s product or market areas of responsibilities
· Oversees the execution of the strategic and operating plans of Studios toward predictable delivery ensuring alignment with IGT strategic plans and directives
· Own the evolution of globally standardized tech platforms, workflows and processes
· Play key role in the development and change management of common process frameworks to improve efficiency, effectiveness and predictability of our product development
· Establishes the game development goals and objectives for entities directed; commits to project timelines and key development milestones
· Monitors all Global Studios strategic product plans ensuring alignment with IGT market strategy, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.
· Ensures efficient project management of both internal teams and external resources to dependably deliver committed projects within budget, in a timely manner, with high levels of quality
· Establishes guidelines for product development process within game studio and ensures that controls are in place for continual process improvement
· Works with Chief Creative Officer and other Studio Heads to develop and manage departmental budget
· Track open issues across organization, proactively follow-up and seek resolution
· Drive and compose regular reports across organization
· Execute MBO process throughout organization and ensure compliance
· Keeps abreast of industry developments, market trends, opportunities, and competitor developments that could provide solutions to IGT’s business goals; researches and evaluates new product capabilities to determine their applicability to assigned development projects
· Conducts or reviews regular performance reviews, sets or reviews annual performance goals, determines compensation adjustments and awards and develops mid- to long-term career development plans for senior level personnel
· Understands and recognizes commercial viability of product types and is able to develop appropriate strategies
