Position Title: Assistant Professor - Drexel Game Design Program
Job Overview: Drexel
University seeks applications for a full time tenure-track faculty
position available in its Drexel Game Design Program, a collaborative
effort between the Digital Media Program in the Antoinette Westphal
College of Media Arts & Design and the Computer Science Department
in the College of Engineering. The start date for the anticipated
position is September 1, 2013.
Essential Functions:It
is expected that the successful candidate will pursue research through
scholarship and/or creative works, either funded through government
agencies or through industry, and will have the ability to collaborate
across Drexel schools and colleges. Further responsibilities include
teaching and advising students at the undergraduate and graduate levels,
and service at the college and university levels.

ranked in the top 10 programs to study video game design by Gamepro
Media and the Princeton Review. It is housed in Drexel's Antoinette
Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, one of the Universities' 12

and five graduate programs in media, design and the performing arts, a
number of which are nationally ranked, to over 2,100 students. Programs
