The Industrial Designer User Experience  (UX)

The Comcast UX team is seeking an Senior level Industrial Designer to drive activities related to Industrial Design of hardware products related to the many efforts the Comcast UX team supports from concept to production, working closely with Product Design and User Experience team.

• Oversee product design life cycle from initial research through conceptualization, to concept completion, including sketching proposals of initial designs, proposing alternative plans, and determining direction in collaboration with senior executives and outside vendors
• Lead efforts to develop and evolve Industrial design language and visual design standards for products that fulfill the physical extension of our brands and demonstrate our commitment to delivering premier experiences
• Prepare sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, illustrations, renderings and 3D models
• Create functional mockups for usability testing
• Determine materials, construction, mechanisms, shapes, color, surface finish, manufacturing processes and packaging
•  Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and execute a user-centered design process (gathering and synthesizing data about product use, developing models of users and their interactions with our products, designing products and interfaces that meet usability requirements)
