SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER – MOBILE AND WEB

 

The purpose of this position is to develop and manage marketing for 2K Sports mobile, web and social videogame products.  The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong mix of creative, strategic, and detail-oriented qualities, experience working on mobile/web games, international marketing experience, and a complete understanding of youth culture, sports and videogames in general.

 

Job Responsibilities:

This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and will be responsible for:

·        Create and execute innovative title-specific marketing plans consistent with the 2K Sports brand strategy and individual franchise brand strategies.

·        Manage advertising and media buying agencies in development and execution of advertising plans, packaging & point-of-sale materials

·        Manage international 2K Sports marketing teams in the development and execution of marketing plans in various global territories throughout in Europe and Asia.

·        Work with development teams to develop relevant product positioning as it relates to the consumer demographic

·        Co-manage, along with website manager, all online title-specific promotional initiatives for company website

·        Maximize co-op marketing and promotional opportunities with partners, leagues and Players Associations when applicable

·        Work directly with individual teams and first party hardware manufacturers to create mutually beneficial marketing partnerships

·        Maximize retail marketing effectiveness in coordination with Take-Two and 2K Channel Marketing team

·        Establish measurement criteria and track marketing program returns

·        Secure all marketing-related (non-game content) approvals from leagues, player associations, first party hardware companies

·        Coordinate the localization of all visual, creative and video assets for international territories and for external co-publishing and development partners.

·        Develop budget, manage expenses, track expenditures
