The College of Communication Arts & Sciences at Michigan State University invites applications for a fixed term faculty position in the area of 3D Graphics and Animation. We seek a strong conceptual and creative media artist with an extensive portfolio, teaching experience, and interdisciplinary experience. The new faculty member will join an enthusiastic, multidisciplinary faculty and a strong program in the design and development of media, including games, film, television, web, visualization, and mobile applications.

The successful candidate will be expected to gain visibility through juried competitions and venues (peer reviewed exhibitions; online or broadcast distribution, conference presentations; awards). In addition, candidates will teach in our undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as advise graduate students on projects and theses.
