Freelance Production Assistant

Description

• Assist in the coordination of production between producers, managers, designers, Mac Artists, 3D artists, Chyron and production artist, when necessary.
• QC Tapes.
• Assist with layoffs.
• Research information when requested (i.e. Getty Images, etc.).
• Supervise edit and audio sessions as needed.
• Traffic invoices (shipping/courier/post production invoices), to individual producers and managers for approval.
• Order tape stock/Manage sign out sheet of tape stock.
• Order office supplies.
• Create tape labels/Update tape logos.
• Update department project codes and distribute when necessary.
• Order/follow-up on dub order requests.
• Assist managers and producers with shipments.
• Retrieve materials from the vault.
• Attend weekly production meetings, take notes, and distribute.
• Be aware of all production in house & out of house.
• Create research books (grabs from other networks or previous FOX designs, examples for orders and artist reference).
• Participate in weekend rotations for individual sports (NFL, MLB, NASCAR, Special Events). Duties will include supporting BA's in studio, and fielding calls from the remotes.
• Posting elements to FTP locations, coordinating and/or supervising feeds of necessary elements to the remotes.
• Work weekends and evenings, when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
