Our school is located in a new complex in the arts district of North Hollywood near Lankershim and Magnolia.
We are looking for an experienced instructor with minimum Master’s degree in instructional technology and design, interactive education or the equivalent, is needed for Summer and Fall quarters at Ai-Hollywood, starting the first of July 2012 to teach Interactive Design for Education for summer quarter and Computer/WEB-Based Training for our fall quarter.
This upper division course in our Bachelor’s program provides an examination of the interplay between design elements, content organization, and cognitive function in the design of interactive education and training. This course focuses on educational theory, content structures, visual information systems, and user-centered design. The first course addresses the theory of learning and interactive learning/training/teaching; the second course includes the development of an interactive learning application. Students will learn to translate concepts and material into online and print-based graphics, videos, and presentations to support web, mobile and interactive classroom based instruction. Course provides an exploration of authoring techniques for interactive training and education. Students gain experience in the process of design, development, and evaluation of effective computer and web-based training systems. Instructor must have experience with and be able to teach application Captivate in association with this course.
