IGT’s Interactive division focuses on the global development and delivery of gaming content and systems products through the internet & other distributed methods to PCs, mobile phones and other ‘thin client’ devices. As new markets open and gaming becomes ubiquitous entertainment the market opportunity represented by these products is very significant, as is evidenced by today’s online gaming market size ($25B+) and rapid growth.
IGT’s Interactive division will bring to market world class products that attain leading positions in the emerging new media markets, take full advantage of the innovative possibilities new technologies present, and leverage the expertise, assets and the resources of its parent.
Responsibilities:
·Adaptations of world-class consumer brands for casino gaming
·Implementations of innovative slot, card and roulette games
·Lead team from multiple disciplines (art, audio, technical, quality assurance, compliance, and product release) through design, production, testing and release of casino games
·Work with game designer in the design phase to define the creative vision, fun factors, and unique features of new games and then carry the vision through production
·Be the key game liaison with product marketing group and coordinate game schedule to production requirements of new game features with internet platform group and be sure that platform and game features are delivered together
·Drive game team to create excellent products on time and to specification
·Create and maintain product documentation including functional specifications for delivery to QA as key component for game testing
·Manage expectations of senior staff on product features and schedules
·Arbitrate trade-offs between the look/feel, game play, technological limitations, and schedule
·Communicate, coordinate, and remove obstacles between game team and other IGT departments
·Manage regular product reviews and prioritize feedback from the Studio Director, Game Designer, and development team
·Lead, evolve, and improve the overall production process to increase levels of efficiency, quality of work, and profitability
·Participate as a member of the game strategy group in game evaluation, selection and approval
·Support marketing and sales teams with product support materials and game demos
·Support localization of game content into multiple languages
