Job Description:
R&D Engineers develop software systems and techniques for creating visual effects, animation, and games. This position emphasizes high-performance and scalable software architectures for computer graphics applications.
•Designs and develops new systems for production of high-end digital content
•Collaborates with tool developers and artists to create state-of-the-art capabilities
•Upgrades and maintains existing production systems
•Advises and assists junior engineers with maintenance and bug fixing of existing software and/or systems.
•Communicates with end-users to determine technical requirements and disseminate information regarding project status.
•Expected to participate in discussions surrounding future applications and/or systems regarding their appropriateness of solution.
