NC State's DELTA (Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications) department seeks a new Director of Media Production Services to direct the scope and operations of the Distance and Distributed Education Production Services In addition, this new leader will have supervisory and administrative oversight of Video Communications Services, Academic Technologies Coordination, Network Specialists, and Media Distribution Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead in strategic planning, goal-setting, production standards and measures, and budgeting processes for media production activities to streamline services and facilitate responsive, timely, and reliable production and distribution services
* Work with leadership and management across DELTA to facilitate collaborative approaches and cross-unit support for media production and distribution needs
* Participate as a member of the Distance and Distributed Education leadership team to foster collaboration within DELTA and the university to provide optimum services and streamline support services
* Supervise Media Production Services direct reports, providing mentoring and timely feedback on work performance and encouraging professional development activities
* Collaborate with DELTA and other campus entities to research emerging media technologies for applicability and feasibility in academic environments and develop pilots and evaluations to measure effectiveness and sustainability of new products
