Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Concept, design, and produce compelling video graphics, animations and interactive experiences for use online, in-store, in-house and television broadcast.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead Garmin’s use of motion graphics for marketing initiatives
Work with the Interactive and Animation Team to concept marketing materials (mini-sites, DVDs & broadcast materials, applications, games, presentations and other interactive projects) that engage and educate customers about Garmin features and benefits
Create motion graphics and animations which clearly explain the features and benefits of new and emerging technologies and devices
Storyboard, design, and produce new product and executive presentations
Work with Communications, Marketing, and Engineering staff to plan, manage, and complete requested projects
Work with project managers to hit critical project due dates
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Remain current on new media and traditional design disciplines
Stay abreast of new tools and techniques used in the interactive and animation field
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Act as subject matter expert/mentor on Motion Graphics
