2K Games seeks a skilled Development Director to manage a team of Producers, Associate Producers and Game Analysts in order to successfully direct the development of multiple titles from inception to release.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop product budgets and schedules and maintain forecasts of the budget, anticipating, identifying and resolving overruns.
- Manage a staff of 10 Producers: hire, train, evaluate performance, and professionally develop a high performance team.
- Continuously improve development processes and best practices and authorize their implementation.
- Oversee aggregate reporting of product development progress for all our projects.
- Develop and maintain productive relationship with external partners, vendors, and contractors.
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure effective promotion and distribution.
- Serve as a mentor and technical/business authority to Producers and advise them on optimal resolution of complex problems.
- Serve as a key contributor in setting the long-term strategic directions for 2K Games.
- Evaluate product submissions and play a leading role in contract negotiations.
