Lead/Sr. Environment Artist

Description

CCP North America is looking for a talented individual to be a part of the creative team working on the groundbreaking MMO title, World of Darkness. This particular opening requires that the candidate be motivated, possess excellent communication skills, and has the ability to work well with a cross-disciplinary group.


The Senior Environment Artist will work directly with the art director and lead level designer to lead the art side creation of a modern urban environment. They will need to collaborate closely with engineering, design, and the other art disciplines to develop an incredibly immersive, massive game world.


Major responsibilities include:

* Lead and mentor the internal environment team on a day-to-day basis.
* Work closely with the Art Director and the concept art team to ensure consistency between the concept and final assets.
* Establish and maintain the production requirements to enforce both technical and aesthetical coherence.
* Produce final assets both for in-game use and for visual target purposes.
* Create outsourcing documentation and communicate requirements to outsourcing partners.
* Monitor the quality & consistency of outsourced and in-house production.
