Job Title: Back End Digital Production Manager

Reports To: Supervising Producer

Summary of Position:
The Back End Digital Production Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day production schedule and the crew to ensure the timely and efficient completion of the production. Under the direction of the Supervising Producer, he/she helps develop and oversee the department schedules and implements the overall show strategies. The BEDPM interacts with the Supervising Producer, Front End Production Manager and senior management on day-to-day crew progress and needs. Also, the BEDPM is responsible for ensuring that pertinent information is communicated to all appropriate parties on the project at all times internally and externally with our outsource vendors.

Primary Function
• Assess challenges to productivity and present solutions to solve the issues.
• Manage complexity by presenting core creative group with options and allowing them to prioritize their wishes.
• Ensure smooth communication and deliveries with our outsource vendors.
• Ensure that department schedules tie into the master schedule.
• Manage and mentor production staff to greater effectiveness.
• Ensures communication from the studio and show leadership make it to the floor as well as information from the floor being communicated up.
