Assistant Professor – Digital Arts, Animation:
One full-time, tenure track position available to begin in Fall 2012. The successful applicant will be able to teach in intermediate and advanced level courses in animation (3D and 2D) and have the ability to teach courses outside of his/her specialization such as visual effects techniques and general digital media/arts classes.

The Digital Arts Major offers a BA degree with concentrations in Animation and Visual Effects. This major is part of the Cinema and Digital Arts program which also offers a BA degree in Cinema Production with concentrations in directing, producing, cinematography and editing, and a BA degree in screenwriting. This program has a specific mission and focus of fostering a highly collaborative environment between all three majors. The Cinema and Digital Arts department has over 250 full-time students and is part of Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, along with departments in Theatre and Dance.
