Art Director

Description

Funtactix is looking for an additional Art Director to join our growing team. As a Funtactix Art Director, you are responsible for defining the look and style of innovative and visually stunning social games and casual MMOGs. You will be taking rich blockbuster film and music properties and creating the most visually stunning games on Facebook and the web – stretching the limits of Flash and other technologies. You will have, at your disposal, high-fidelity assets from top animation and art production studios.

This is an unprecedented opportunity to work on games for leading films prior to their release, on a cutting-edge online platform.

Responsibilities include:
• Driving overall concept design and defining artistic style – establish a vision for the visual look of the product, and drive the product toward that vision
• Iterating with external art studios and freelancers – providing feedback and maximizing visual quality and consistency
• Working closely with the game producer to schedule work across internal teams and outsourcing providers
• Guiding development of art pipeline tools
