Assistant/Associate Professor of Interactive Media

The dynamic School of Communications at Elon University invites applications for a new faculty position to join our current 45 full-time faculty members beginning in August 2012. The position can be tenure-track or continuing-track at the assistant or associate professor rank, depending on academic and professional qualifications.

We seek an outstanding colleague to teach courses in the M.A. in Interactive Media program and related courses in the undergraduate program. Graduate courses include Interactive Writing and Design and Application Development. The ideal candidate also will have the opportunity to lead a section of the iMedia international fly-in course, Interactive Project for the Public Good, during the January term.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, have a promising or established record of scholarly or creative activity, and value presence and service in a collegial atmosphere. All faculty in the School also have the opportunity to teach in Elon’s interdisciplinary general studies program.
