TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MEDIA INFORMATICS
Northern Kentucky University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Media Informatics to begin August 2012. The successful candidate will be vested and proven in the fast-changing world of new media, but foremost be a teacher-scholar in digital media design. The candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses and the occasional graduate course, conduct an active research and/or creative program, and engage strongly with our students and region. As such, each candidate should be able to demonstrate teaching effectiveness, scholarship, and service. A Masters degree in media, communication or other field related to Media Informatics required, MFA or Ph.D. in a related media field preferred.
