Description

The University of Central Florida seeks an innovative leader to direct the new School of Visual Arts and Design, a unique structure that combines traditional studio arts with the emerging media concepts that are the foundation of animation, game and web design, and interactive media. The new school combines the former departments of Art and Digital Media into a single organizational unit and will support 47 faculty and 1200+ majors. The School will also house a new Bachelor of Design program in Architecture. The School will figure prominently in the new strategic City/State mission of the university through significant contributions to local simulation and gaming industries.
