CG Supervisor

Description

The CG Supervisor provides leadership, support, and planning for all aspects of the Computer Graphics Department. The CG Supervisor works with the Producer to estimate project schedules and monitor project progress while directly managing CG staff, supports a high level of artistic quality, assures fiscal and service accountability, and oversees technology initiatives for the CG department.

Manages CG Department artists in daily production activities. Promotes growth, creativity, and technical skills by developing and implementing training programs across disciplines.

Collaborates with producers and directors to formulate bids, time lines and staffing plans for all types of content production. Ensures CG deliverables are completed in a cost-effective, timely manner.

Partners with Recruiting Manager to support a dynamic and talented roster of artists including core staff and freelance talent.

Develops and integrates CG technical and work flow strategies within the Department and collaborates with HOUSE Department Managers to insure successful integration across the studio.

Works with HOUSE TD’s to establish production-related initiatives including pipeline support, troubleshooting technical issues and expanding creative tool sets. Manages, maintains oversight and staffs initiatives accordingly.

Responsible for annual CG departmental budget for labor and equipment including quarterly forecasting. Evaluates and recommends CG staffing and equipment needs on an ongoing basis.

As part of the management team, participates in strategic planning and implementation of HOUSE global objectives with an eye to continued artistic growth and business expansion.
