Lead Producer (Toronto)

Tasks and Responsibilities

The Lead Producer will be responsible for a team of Producers that are responsible for the game development (budget, deadlines, content) of various genders of video games. Producers as well as the Lead Producer will manage a team of designers, programmers and 2D/3D artists.

• Manage the Producers team, as well as various projects;
• Employee management;
o Manage employee’s performance evaluation and disciplinary follow ups.
o Active participation in recruitment (CV and portfolio sorting; test corrections; interviews; etc.)
• Assign tasks and manage projects for teams of designers, programmers, artists and quality assurance testers;
• Manage the development of new games throughout all production stages: concept, mock-up, alpha, beta, gold;
• Ensure communication with Gameloft executive producers and quality assurance teams in other studios for project follow-up;
• Ensure communication with other development studios in our foreign offices for projects produced outside Toronto;
• Collaborate with the marketing team to direct the creation of new games based on marketing research and create new advertising programs.
