Director of Talent Acquisition

Lucasfilm is seeking a creative, resourceful and strategic Director of Talent Acquisition for all the Lucasfilm companies including ILM, LucasArts, Lucasfilm, Lucasfilm Animation, Lucasfilm Singapore, Sky Sound and Sky Properties. The Director will work with a professional team of recruiters to design, develop and align Talent Acquisition vision, strategies and process to meet the companies’ talent resources needs. This business partner will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategic recruiting initiatives with internal business and HR partners in order to attract top talent as well as managing all aspects of the recruitment process while leading and developing a recruiting team. In addition, this individual will ensure all recruitment practices are “best in class.”

Other key responsibilities:

-Manage a team of industry experienced recruiters, developing and mentoring a high performing team
-Dotted line management for the Singapore team of recruiters
-Proactively interface to the Lucasfilm executive team with respect to talent planning and acquisition
-Maintain an optimized workforce and tightly manage operating expenses to insure cost effectiveness
-Oversee the University Relations team
-Personally manage senior level searches as needed
