The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Manager and will be the HR go-to person for the Studio. Working with the Studio Manager, he/she will manage all HR aspects for the Studio, with the support of the Montreal HR team. This position is located in Toronto.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Manage all the recruitment process, from the job postings to the actual hire;
• New employees integration and paperwork arrival;
• Coordinate and participate recruitment events;
• Manage work permit demands and coordinate foreign workers relocation;
• Advise managers on labor laws, internal policies and HR management procedures;
• Manage follow-ups with managers in various situations (disciplinary procedures/probation periods/termination of contract/etc.);
• Ensure internal communication;
• Write various letters and keep reports updated;
• Manage the departure interviews with the employees;
• Act as the go-to person in HR for managers and employees;
• Manage the employees performance evaluation with managers;
• Participate in various HR Projects.
