UI Tech Lead

The User Experience Lead is a senior UI designer and analyst who will serve in a lead role for the user experience design stream of work. Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in general user interface design and usability analysis. The candidates must also have experience with developing mobile UI designs for the iPhone and iPad, and must understand the principles of usability and visual design for these platforms. Must have experience leading a team of UI designers and developers in designing and developing iPad applications and prototypes. He/she will be responsible for leading a UI designer and an iPad developer to design user interface concepts for an iPad application for secure script distribution (SSD) as well as a web browser-based application for script viewing for PC and Mac users. The User Experience Lead needs to be able to effectively review interaction models and use cases for the secure script distribution solution and translate them into compelling UI designs for the iPad application, which will be used by our client’s creative executives for the viewing, annotation, and management of scripts (pdf file format). The User Experience Lead must have experience conducting workshops and working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop UI designs. Candidates must be able to work independent and have solid stakeholder management skills and experience.

The User Experience Lead will be responsible for the following:
• Work stream management and light project management duties
• Manage a team comprised of a UI designer and iPad/HTML developer
• Set and manage the user experience design methodology and daily activities of the user experience team
• Define detailed user interface and user experience requirements
• Conduct workshops and interviews
• Coordinate the development of design frameworks and deliverables
• Check work stream deliverables for quality
• Delivery of work stream deliverables
• Delivery of user experience prototype and mock-up designs
• Manage client expectations regarding user experience design
